The Magic Key


The Magic Key exercise can be applied to many different issues and challenges and will look different for every individual. In all of these activities an individual is asked to imagine they have a magic key to a magic door. They are then asked to imagine that beyond that door is something specific: maybe it's the answer to all their relationship issues, maybe it's a space where they feel free from anxiety, maybe it's a space where they and their depression are able to co-exist. Individuals are then asked to draw what lies behind that magical door. The Magic Key exercise is a powerful tool for self-exploration, insight, optimism, problem-solving, shifting focus, externalization, and more. This bundle includes an explanation plus 20 unique prompts.
